Vivekanand Seva Mandal (VSM) is an NGO with group of spirited and altruist youths working for the greater cause of national interest including social awareness, spiritual consciousness and environmental concern.
VSM was started in 1990 under guidance of Shri. Nakhare, Shri. Ganpule and a renowned social worker Shri. Mama Devasthali.
Engineering Library has been the first and prime project started by VSM. With purpose to bring youths together, with some donated books and few members, the library was started. Today the library has more than 6000 members and more than 8000 books. Entire library is maintained by volunteers. This library has produced several youths striving for a social cause.
Vihigaon is a small village in tribal region of Kasara, about 160 kms from Mumbai.
VSM has adapted this village and for past decade has been carrying developmental activities by involving youths from cities. Education, health care, self-help groups, water management, appropriate technology are some areas were work had been in progress
Go For Absolute Leadership strives for personality development and creating future leaders who would not only excel in their career but also strive for social cause.
Lecture series of distinguished personalities, Group discussion, Industrial visits, Seminars, etc. are some of the activities under this project.
