Vivekanand Seva Mandal started with purpose of diverting the constructive energy of the educated youths towards social cause. This energy would result betterment of the society and eventually betterment of nation.

Engineering Library was the first project started by VSM. This library not only helped engineering students but also brought them together. This platform was seen as increasing participation of youths.

Vihigaon was result of the seed of social awareness sowed by the library. Engineering students came forward for the development of rural area. Vihigaon was adopted for this purpose. Water resource managment, health and medical care, education, rural employment are carried under this project.

With purpose of identifying and creating future leaders, Go For Absoulute Leadership (G.O.A.L) was started.
